Instacare #2

Well, boys will be boys!  Tayson ran into the corner of our end table and split his eye open, so here we are for instacare visit #2.

Luckily there were no stitches necessary, but the doctor nearly glued Bubba's eye shut!  Thank goodness Trav was there and watching closely.  The scar isn't going to be pretty though.

Heritage Center with Daddy

We have season passes to the American West Heritage Center.  Trav decided to take the kiddos out and they had a blast!

Tooele Trip

With Trav spending so much time in Tooele and Grantsville while working for Mountain West Ambulance, we decided we should take a trip out to see the sights.  Trav had a shift where he had 12 hours off, so the kids and I headed out to Trav's stomping grounds.

First, we visited the station where Trav spends most his time....

 Next we visited the Utah Fire Museum

 

And lastly, we visited the Tooele train museum.  They had this awesome little train that the kids rode at least 5 or 6 times.  

Norman Reunion/Father's Day

Travis is part of a large, very complex to explain, extended family.  His mom's biological mother passed away when Janet was really small from complications related to asthma.  This amazing lady was a Norman, so we spent Father's Day weekend at the Norman Family "Ego Trip" Reunion.  We camped at a beautiful resort owned by the family in the river bottoms of Paradise. 

Our Daddy was all tuckered out after the festivities and enjoyed a long nap on the couch for Father's Day.  

Happy 9 Years to Us!

Trav really outdid himself this year for our anniversary.  First we spent a day at the spa getting facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures.

It was amazing to be pampered and to be able to do it together.  We then headed out for some grub at Texas Roadhouse followed by an evening at the Anniversary Inn for a much needed get away.

I am so in love with this hunk!
