Las Vegas Trip

After Trav's graduation we took off for some much needed family time together in Las Vegas!  The weather was beautiful, we stayed in our timeshare, played hard, napped, relaxed, and most of all enjoyed each other and a week without distractions.

This last weekend I had a conference in SAN DIEGO! So, we decided to go a few days early and make a vacation of it. We had so much fun! The kids had a lot of firsts including their first plane ride (which was fabulous the way there and definitely not so much on the way back), their first time at Sea World (they LOVED Shamu!), and their first time at the ocean. It was fabulous! Actually, a little cooler than Utah while we were there, but fun all the same.

We went to the Half-Way with Trav's Family, but I only got one picture of the kids when they fell asleep in the Kelty Back Packs. I'll have to get pics from Grandma Janet. It was a blast. Trav learned that our F-150 isn't quite the beast he thought it was when it overheated on the way there. We'll take the next long uphill pulls a little slower.

4th of July at the White's. Had a blast dressing the kids up and they loved most of the fireworks. The loud ones scared sister and Bubba, well he fell asleep during them, so they didn't seem to bother him at all.

Maiden Voyage of the Sunchaser. Minus the heater not working, all went well. The Uintas were gorgeous, we got in some great 4-wheeling, and the kids did well on their first camping trip! So much fun...thanks to my Mom and Dad for inviting us to go with them.

Bear Lake Reunion

Every year my Mom's side of the family has a HUGE reunion at Bear Lake. This year there was only one cousin missing. It was great to see everyone! Each year we go golfing with just our family. Here's some pics of the four golfers and their cute drivers....

Me and my cousin's wife JamieIt was an amazing trip! I just have to point out that Jamie is due the end of Sept and I'm due November 10th. I promise everyone--I really am big enough to be carrying twins!

Friend Camp Trip July 9 - 11

We had the opportunity to go camping just above Afton, WY with several of our friends. It was GREAT! Thanks Val for arranging it and inviting us. Trav and I were the only one's tenting it--I made it on my 4 foot high air mattress! Needless to say Travis has trailor envy now after this trip.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a lot to celebrate this year over Memorial Day. June 3rd was our 6 Year Anniversary! So, we decided to celebrate the weekend before as Trav was going to be gone the next weekend. We also felt it important to celebrate our last anniversary without kiddos (which of course, we wouldn't trade for the world).


We stayed in the Anniversary Inn on Friday night. Our room "Juliet's Balcony" was amazing! We had a BLAST! Here's a tour of our room...

We then went to see Iron Man 2 in Salt Lake, made a stop at Babies R Us, and then we had dinner at the La Caille restaurant up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was beautiful and the food was amazing.

Happy Anniversary Trav! I've never had a better 6 years than the past ones with you. I can't wait for the future and the adventures that are sure to await us. Today, Tomorrow, Forever! I love you!
