The Twins are 18 months

Time has flown by.  My beautiful babes are 18 months old.  I guess they are now classified as toddlers.  We had pics taken at JC Penny for the occasion, and I even posed with my bald head to document this time in all of our lives.  Trav and I can't imagine what life was like without them anymore.  Being a parent has enriched my life beyond measure.  It has challenged me, stretched me (literally physically as well as mentally and emotionally).  It has brought me more joy than I ever thought possible.  I am so blessed to have these two in my life.  I love you Tayson and Brielle.  My sweet Bubba and Sissy.

The "Twin" Pics

A Bald Mommy at 18 Months Old

Tayson David Allred
Weight: 20 lbs 13 oz
Height: 31 3/4 inches

Tayson is such a sensitive little boy.  He is afraid of the vacuum and any loud noise (ie paper shredder).  He loves his sissy soooo much and comforts her when she cries by patting or rubbing her back. He is a little bit of a Mamma's boy and hates it when she goes to work.  He loves his naps, his binky, baby einstein movies, his blue and green blanket, jumping on the tramp, and dancing.  He is talking up a storm learning several new words a day.  Today he even said Brielle and Tayson for the first time.  His favorite food right now is corn.  He looks just like his Daddy and takes after his love of cooking and cleaning. We love our little man.

Brielle Collette Allred
Weight: 15 lbs 15 oz
Height: 28 1/4 inches (may be inaccurate though)

Brielle is a little tough girl.  She often beats up on her brother and takes advantage of his caring nature knocking him to the ground and sitting on him.  Her hair is finally long enough to pull into to true pig tails or a pony tail.  She is tiny and adorable just like her Mommy and has a feisty stubborn personality.  She loves to snuggle her Daddy especially before naps.  She loves being outside no matter the temperature and, much to our dismay, will often be found with her finger in her nose. She would eat only milk if we would let her and tolerates other foods when coerced.  She loves to be flipped, thrown, and swung--I wouldn't be surprised to see this girl as a gymnast or cheerleader someday.  She still wears her glasses, although getting a good picture with them on is tough due to the reflection.  They have really helped and her eyes hardly ever cross anymore.  She is really into making animal sounds and can spot an animal from what seems like miles away.  Big things come in small packages and by small things are great things brought to pass.  We agree wholeheartedly.  Love you baby girl!

Taxol

Overall, Taxol was better than my previous 4 treatments.  I didn't get nauseated which made everything so much easier to deal with.  I still had no appetite, I got REALLY achy for 4 days (instead of 5), and still generally had no energy.  Not feeling nauseated makes it all tons better. So, now I'm down to 3 treatments left!  YAAAAAAAAY!
