Well, my reconstruction surgery was on August 1st. It was the final piece of my journey. Surgery went really well and I feel great. They simply had to remove the tissue expander and place an implant into my right breast. It looks and feels awesome. I have lifting restrictions for the next 3 weeks which stinks with being a momma of twins, but I'll take what I can get. I have the next 2 weeks off of work to recover and I'm enjoying the time I can spend with my family while feeling pretty decent.
So that's it. This chapter of my life is done. I no longer have cancer or any treatments associated with it. I can close this book and look forward to the future. A future of follow-ups and screenings, but a future for now free of cancer.

So happy for you Bree! You are amazing. We can't wait to see you again. The kids keep asking when we can see you guys. We'll have to plan it.
